Domenico Cima 도메니코 시마 / Italy

Domenico was born in a small town near Rome. He was introduced to music by his parents and the town band. In 2020 he graduated in Euphonium at the "Santa Cecilia" conservatory in Rome under Fabrizio Iacomini.
During his years at the conservatory, he won numerous musical competitions including the Crescendo Prize and the Wings to Talent Competition. In addition, he passed the audition at the Guardia di Finanza band and the Italian Army band, of which he has been a member since 2023 as a euphonium player. Since 2019, he has been the first baritone of the Italian Brass Band, and in 2022 he also participated in the European Youth Brass Band.
In August 2024 he won the first prize of the Euphonium category at Jeju International Brass and Percussion Competition.
